Thousands of gallons of chemical and diesel were lost in the flood

An important part of a productive farm operation includes storage for grain, pesticides, diesel, gas and other products. In many cases where floodways were activated – such as in Missouri and Louisiana – or where backwater entered farmland – such as in Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky — these operations were destroyed or significantly damaged because of floodwaters.
